Alfredo T. Romero attended St. Anthony’s School (4th, 7th, and 8th grades), Taos High School (sophomore year), Central Catholic High School in Taos, New Mexico (junior year), and graduated from Peñasco High School. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. He earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from New Mexico Highlands University. Mr. Romero served as an FBI Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent for 27.5 years before retiring. He later worked as a Healthcare Fraud Investigator for 4.5 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico and Health Integrity, LLC, and has worked for 12 years as a Private Investigator and Contract Investigator with H&H Private Investigations and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico.

Kaori López, PVHPS Vice President, earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. She taught middle and high school history, including New Mexico history, at Peñasco Independent Schools. A dedicated Peñasco community organizer, she has led the Celebración de Culturas, organized the Peñasco Community Yard Sales, served on the committee to pass the bond for school renovations, and has been involved with the Peñasco Youth Center. Her husband attended St. Anthony’s School from first through sixth grade.

Estevan López attended St. Anthony’s School from 1st - 7th grade and graduated from Peñasco High School. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Chemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He served for 12 years as Executive Director of the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission and was appointed by President Barack Obama as Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation within the U.S. Department of the Interior, a Senate-confirmed position he held for 2.5 years. An active member of San Antonio de Padua Parish and a Hermano of the Fraternidad de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, he has also served as Mayordomo of San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church and as President of the Peñasco Mutual Domestic Water Association.

Marian Fast Wolf, PVHPS Treasurer, attended St. Anthony’s School and graduated from Peñasco High School.

Louella L. Rodriguez, PVHPS Board Member, attended St. Anthony’s School from first through eighth grade and was one of 12 siblings who attended the school. She graduated from Peñasco High School, earned a master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University, and retired after 33 years in public education.

José López, Executive Director, earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico.

Erin Cherry, Development Administrator for PVHPS, lives in Ojo Sarco and holds a B.A. in Media Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.  She has worked in development and fundraising for nearly a decade. She ran a graphic design business for multiple years before pivoting to work in an educational non-profit setting in Santa Fe.

Leonora López, MD, Chair of the Development Committee for PVHPS, attended St. Anthony’s School from first through eighth grade and graduated from Peñasco High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico. Board certified in Family Medicine, she has been in private practice for 30 years. Her community service includes serving as a founding member of Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Community, a member of the Santa Maria de La Paz Building Committee, a board member of the Santa Fe Rape Crisis Center for eight years, and a board member of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children in the First Judicial District.

Mardoqueo Chacon attended St. Anthony’s School from first through ninth grade and graduated from Peñasco High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a combat-rated B-52 navigator, and retired after a career in managed care for the elderly and disabled. He has also served on 31 nonprofit boards.

Sister Ada Dominguez attended St. Anthony’s School from first through fifth grade before attending Peñasco Junior High and Peñasco High School, where she graduated with honors in 1969 and was crowned Blessed Mother at the Baccalaureate Ceremony. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of New Mexico and Aquinas College in 1973 and entered the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1972. She later earned a Master of Arts in Education and certification in Educational Administration, with honors, from the University of New Mexico. She served as principal for multiple Albuquerque schools between 1983 and 2014. Since retiring, she has volunteered with Latin American Migrants through Albuquerque Interfaith beginning in 2019 and continues to volunteer with various organizations and individuals as needed.
