Worked for 40 years in both nonprofit organizations and government agencies.  Retired in 2015 

Active in community to enhance women’s lives and families’ lives for over 30 years: 

Founder, with other women, of Hispanic Women’s Council (still on the Board of Directors)

Founder, with other women, of NM Women’s Foundation in 1989

Active member of Mexican American Women’s National Association (MANA) since 1988
